Senior Capstone Project


To be completed during PH 431 - MAV Wellness Consultant Practicum :

  • A Portfolio of case studies based on 50 or more in-person client clinical encounters including observation, student/client encounters with direct supervision, and one-on-one cases. Must demonstrate competence in evaluating the level of balance, causative factors, and Ayurvedic pathology and use of appropriate measures to restore balance through stress reduction, lifestyle, diet, spices, herbal supplements, essential oils, meditation, Yoga, and other modalities of Maharishi AyurVeda.
  • A Reflection Paper (1000-1200 words) reflecting on what was learned from case studies and demonstrating understanding of the core principles of Maharishi AyurVeda and how these principles relate to human physiology and the optimal state of health.

1 The WTG 191  requirement may be fulfilled with approved transfer credit from a prior institution or waived by examination.

2 The WTG 192  requirement may be fulfilled with approved transfer credit from a prior institution.

3 The Human Anatomy and Physiology requirement may be fulfilled by successfully completing equivalent undergraduate coursework with an earned grade of B- or higher at a regionally accredited institution within the last five years.

4 Completing STC 108  and FOR 431  fulfill the Forest Academy requirement for the semester in which each course was completed.
