PH 431 - MAV Wellness Consultant Practicum

Degree/Program: On-Campus residency course for BAAW Ayurveda Wellness Consultant Track
This course involves the application of knowledge gained in all previous courses in Maharishi AyurVeda. It aims to build confidence in consulting with clients, leading consultations, and participating in case studies. On-Campus students spend 8 weeks full-time at the Maharishi AyurVeda Integrative Wellness Center at MIU’s campus in Fairfield, Iowa. The course can be repeated for up to 16 credits, subject to satisfactory progress. By the end of this course, students complete a major senior project, including a reflection paper and a portfolio based on at least 50 clinical encounters.
