This course explores Maharishi AyurVeda’s use of herbs to enliven the body’s inner intelligence and restore balance. Students learn about Ayurvedic herbs and herbal compounds, their qualities, and their actions in human physiology, as well as their effects in various health conditions. The course covers single-form and compound herbal preparations, modes of action, indications and contraindications, quality control, and good manufacturing practices. It includes labs, public speaking presentations, and literature reviews.
