This course focuses on deeply understanding the concept of core work and how it applies to your client and to you as coach. You will develop greater facility in understanding what is happening in the session and how it applies to the core work of the client. You will work with your emotional reactions to the material your clients bring into the session and identify how it applies to your core work as coach. You will deepen your use of ongoing coaching supervision to address related unfinished situations and core emotional issues in your life to heighten your capacity to more successfully facilitate the client’s ongoing growth and learning. You will also learn how the ICF coaching competencies serve as foundational skills in support of the EQ competencies practiced throughout these courses. You will continue learning and practicing the ICF competencies towards successful completion of an ICF-accredited Level Two Emergence Coach Training program.
