This course offers comprehensive exploration of the human body’s intricate anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology across the first half of 12 organ systems. Students learn the structure and function of the body’s organs and tissues, with special emphasis on understanding the normal functioning of each system and how it can be disrupted in various disease states. Topics covered include the cardiovascular system, respiratory system, digestive system, nervous system, endocrine system, and more.
