Program Description
The Minor in Quantitative Reasoning is for students in all majors looking for a competitive edge in the workplace. Employers in every area actively seek candidates with skill in quantitative reasoning, who are not afraid of data and can make decisions based on a clear understanding of numerical information. Quantitative reasoning is not just for analysts-it’s a core competency for all decision-makers. By 2030, quantitative reasoning will be one of the most critical skills for adapting to new technologies. This Minor also covers topics most essential for making decisions in personal life: budgets, investments, large expenses, trips. There are no mathematics prerequisites. Each course emphasizes applications.
Graduation Requirements
To graduate with a Minor in Quantitative Reasoning, undergraduate students must complete 16 credits of required coursework.
