Program Description

In the Bachelor of Arts in The Science and Technology of Consciousness, students become familiar and work with the authentic knowledge of the ancient tradition of Yoga and meditation and the full potential of human consciousness. This knowledge, as brought to light by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi over several decades, has been verified by over 750 scientific research studies. Maharishi’s unique understanding of Yoga, founded on the ancient texts, presents Yoga as an evidence-based program to enrich all aspects of life and create world peace.

Students practice and study the Transcendental Meditation technique and related advanced programs. All these programs together are traditionally understood as a complete approach to developing the full potential of every individual to live in peace, happiness, success, and health. Students specifically study how these programs for development of consciousness can transform and bring fulfillment to the highest goals of twelve fundamental areas of society: Law, Education, Health, Agriculture, Economics, Administration, Architecture, Defense, Communication, Music and Arts, Religion and Culture, and Political Science.

This program enables students to see how transforming human consciousness is the key to transforming the world. Through this program, students become effective teachers and leaders in this knowledge.
