Program Description

Building upon the introductory concepts covered in undergraduate physics, the one-year MS in Foundations of Physics and Consciousness provides a fundamental, graduate-level exploration of the principles, techniques, and applications of the central themes in physics and cosmology. Special attention is given to the Consciousness-Based perspective and its implications for the foundations of physics.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the MS in Foundations of Physics and Consciousness, students will be able to:

  1. Solve problems in the foundations of theoretical physics.
  2. Explain current problems and anomalies at the frontiers of physics.
  3. Articulate the deep compatibility of science and spirituality as found in the work of Dr. John Hagelin and Dr. Tony Nader.
  4. Explain the special issues relating to the science of consciousness and especially how progress on the deepest issues of contemporary physics can be addressed from the consciousness-based perspective.
