Program Description
The minor in mathematics is for students who wish to have knowledge of mathematics to support their study in computer science or any of the natural or applied sciences. Students who intend to complete a Minor in Mathematics are required to demonstrate entry-level competency in mathematics described in the Mathematics Entry Requirements section above.
Graduation Requirements
To graduate with a Minor in Mathematics, bachelor’s degree BAAS students who have demonstrated entry-level proficiency in mathematics equivalent to MATH 162 must complete 20 credits of required courses numbered 267 or higher. Students must also submit a portfolio of important work and projects from the completed mathematics courses and an essay (minimum 4 pages) connecting their work in mathematics with principles from Maharishi Vedic Science.
