Program Description
The MBA for Professionals program is offered to international candidates with a strong academic background and professional experience in accounting. This 53-credit program requires eight months of study on campus and up to two years of credit-bearing, full-time internships with companies in the U.S. Students continue to engage in academic coursework at quarter-speed while working full-time in authorized Curricular Practical Training (CPT). The coursework in this program format is intended to prepare students for professional certification exams in accounting or ERP/SAP.
The MBA for Professionals Program offers students a choice of two areas of specialization:
- Accounting
- Enterprise Resource Planning and Business Analytics
Entrance Requirements
The MBA for Professionals program is designed for students who have substantial training or experience in business with special admission requirements emphasizing prior study and professional experience.
Graduation Requirements
To graduate with an MBA for Professionals, students must successfully complete a minimum of 53 total credits of study, including the 4-credit Science of Creative Intelligence course required for all graduate students, 28 credits of courses specific to the student’s chosen Specialization, 4 credits of courses in career strategies and business communication, 9 credits of Practicums with Curricular Practical Training (CPT) in a full-time position related to the student’s studies in the MBA for Professionals program, and 8 credits of MBA electives.
