Program Description
The MS in Business Analytics and Technologies provides the students with highly sought-after technology skills and hands-on experience with business analytics applications to solve business problems through data-driven decision making. The program offerings include data visualization, predictive analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), statistical methods, marketing analytics, SQL queries, business analytics, data mining, and data warehousing.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the MS in Business Analytics and Technology, graduates will be able to:
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of SAP-ERP or other business analytics and technology tools.
- Demonstrate skill in problem formulation and creativity in identifying options for decision-making.
- Experience better health and happiness and achieve greater clarity about their personal strengths and career goals.
Entrance Requirements
Applicants should have a four-year undergraduate degree or the equivalent and a GPA of 3.0 or higher, or a GPA of 3.2 or higher in the final two years of college. Acceptance is based upon the quality of undergraduate performance and other factors. Students who have taken graduate coursework in business administration at another university and have not used those credits for a degree may apply to have up to 10 credits count as electives toward the MS, subject to approval by the Program Director.
All international students must submit official English proficiency test scores (either TOEFL or IELTS) as part of their application. The test must have been taken within the past two years. Minimum proficiency scores are 6.5 on IELTS, 575 TOEFL paper-based, 230 TOEFL computer-based, 90 TOEFL internet-based, or 58 PTE. Applicants are exempt from this requirement if they have resided in the following countries for a minimum of 2 years: American Samoa, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada (except Quebec), Dominica, Grenada, Grand Cayman, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, Liberia, New Zealand, Trinidad/Tobago, United Kingdom, and US Pacific Trust.
Graduation Requirements
To graduate with an MS in Business Analytics and Technology students must successfully complete 44 total credits, including the 4-credit Science of Creative Intelligence course required for all graduate students, one Forest Academy course in each semester in which the student is enrolled for 12 weeks or more, 24 credits of business analytics and technology courses, 12 credits of elective courses in business, and a 4-credit capstone project or SAP Certification (TS41) course.
