Program Description

The Online BFA in Cinematic Arts and New Media provides the next, natural step for students who already have, or are pursuing, a BA degree in Cinematic Arts and New Media. The primary focus of the BFA program is to broaden the scope of student projects beyond than what they can achieve in the BA program and allow them to dive deeper into their creative process.

Our aim is to drive students toward producing their best work, with the intention of submitting to competitions to garner awards or sponsorships. We facilitate this by extending our course offerings and providing additional support to incubate projects so they can achieve their highest potential.

Courses required to graduate with a BFA in Cinematic Arts and New Media vary by previous undergraduate experience. All students are required to post and maintain a portfolio of their work with a significant media component to aid assessment prior to graduation.

Students also work on a larger-scope capstone project from proposal to completion, then present their project by the end of their senior year.
