A BAAS Specialization is a standalone, secondary area of study that can complement a wide array of undergraduate majors and develops a deeper skill level beyond a minor. The BAAS Specialization in Sustainable and Regenerative Living curriculum provides bachelor’s degree students with a foundation in sustainable building and design, sustainable energy systems, and regenerative living.
Graduation Requirements
To graduate with a BAAS Specialization in Sustainable and Regenerative Living, students must complete 32 credits of coursework in Regenerative Living. Elective courses may also be selected from Regenerative Organic Agriculture (AG) courses.

Consciousness and Social Change Courses (Choose 16 credits)
Regenerative Living (RL) and Organic Agriculture (AG) Electives (Choose 24 credits)
- Any RL-designated courses Credits: variable 2
- Any AG-designated courses Credits: variable 2
Total Credits Required 32
1Students must successfully complete RL G315 with a grade of 80% or higher to earn a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC). 2Elective credits may be concentrated in a specific subject area for more in-depth study or fulfilled with stand-alone Regenerative Living (RL) courses of interest. AG-designated elective courses include both undergraduate and graduate level courses. Students should consider prerequisites before planning to enroll in a course. |
