Regenerative Organic Agriculture Certificate

Program Description

The Certificate in ROA offers a comprehensive introduction to Regenerative Organic Agriculture, including how to manage the biology of soils, how to solve soil and crop problems with organic methods, the science of horticulture, and how to design a farm operation. Students can complete the certificate completely online or extend their learning with an on-campus farm experience practicum in farm maintenance.

Successful completion of a non-degree certificate program may later be reviewed for approval to be applied toward earning a bachelor’s degree, specialization, or minor in Regenerative Organic Agriculture.

Certificate Requirements

To earn a Certificate in Regenerative Organic Agriculture, students must complete the Exploring Consciousness course required for all MIU ROA undergraduate students and 10 credits of required ROA courses. Students may extend their certificate program with on-campus farm experience in the 3-credit hour Field Practicum in Farm Maintenance.

1AG 108A may be waived if the student has successfully completed a Science and Technology of Consciousness, Science of Creative Intelligence, Consciousness in Agriculture, or Exploring Consciousness course prior to enrolling in the certificate program.
