Certificate Course Description
The Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) is an internationally recognized certificate that combines classroom instruction with hands-on projects for full immersion in ecosystem thinking and whole systems design. At MIU, the standardized PDC program is delivered in the course AG 300 - Permaculture Design Certification . Students who enroll in the course on-campus study full time for 4 weeks. Students may also take the course online part-time over 8 weeks.
Enrollment Requirements
Non-matriculated students who enroll in AG 300 - Permaculture Design Certification are required to learn the Transcendental Meditation technique prior to the start of the course.
Certificate Requirements
To earn a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) from MIU, students must successfully complete the standardized PDC training in the AG 300 - Permaculture Design Certification course. Students enrolled in a Regenerative Organic Agriculture Bachelor of Arts, Specialization, or Minor program who successfully complete the required AG 300 - Permaculture Design Certification with a grade of B-minus or better (80%) will receive a Permaculture Design Certificate.

Certificate Requirements
To earn a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC), students must successfully complete the standardized PDC training in the RL G315 or AG 300 - Permaculture Design Certification course with a grade of 80% (B-minus) or better. |
