Program Description
The Master of Arts in Enlightenment and Leadership is an advanced study of the principles expounded upon by MIU’s founder, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, to bring solutions to the problems of life and replace them with bliss consciousness. The curriculum focuses on 12 areas of life found in the Damru Chart:
Law
Health
Economics
Architecture
Communication
Religion and Culture
Education
Agriculture
Administration
Defense
Music and Arts
Supreme Political Science
By studying these twelve representative fields from the perspective of Enlightenment, the first key element of the degree program, students not only learn to locate Consciousness as the antidote to suffering but, as Dr. Tony Nader elucidates, “Consciousness is all that there is” in life, or to put it another way, everything in life is Consciousness. The second part of the program’s title, Leadership, stands for the second key element of the degree program. The greatest leaders in life are those with the highest consciousness, in tune with Natural Law who routinely gain the support of all mighty nature in all their actions. Graduates of this program are prepared to be leaders in the highest sense with ultimate goal of raising the consciousness of the world to a state of supreme fulfillment.
