Within the College of Business and Entrepreneurship, the Department of Emergence Coaching and Leadership provides academic authority, executive leadership, and organizational coherence to support teaching, research, and professional services on themes of human development in the workplace.

The flagship programs of the department are the Doctor of Education (EdD) in Transformational Leadership and Coaching and the Master of Arts in Consciousness-Based Leadership and Coaching. These programs are taught online using a “high touch” form of distance education in which students interact with faculty through 3 two-hour webinars each week. Further, the EdD holds three long-weekend residencies during the program, and the MA holds one.  This intensive faculty engagement has produced exceptionally high student satisfaction.
