PH5012 - Capstone Project in Maharishi Aromatherapy (MAVAT)
Credits: 4
This capstone course provides students with a structured, faculty-guided process for completing a rigorous graduate-level scholarly or applied project in Maharishi Aromatherapy. Students synthesize scientific literature, aromatherapeutic practice, and consciousness-based perspectives to produce a capstone project that demonstrates integrative reasoning, ethical discernment, and professional contribution to the field.
Capstone projects may take the form of a traditional research thesis or an approved applied scholarly project-such as a professional workshop, educational program, product or product line, or other knowledge-translation format-provided the work meets graduate-level standards of inquiry, evidence integration, safety, and scope of practice.
Emphasis is placed on topic validation, literature synthesis, integrative analysis, safety and ethical considerations, professional communication, and reflective integration of Science of Creative Intelligence (SCI). The course culminates in the submission of a polished capstone project and an SCI reflection articulating personal growth, professional insight, and the project’s relevance to Maharishi Aromatherapy practice.
