This course offers students with foundational knowledge of Ayurvedic tissue system or dhatus. Students learn about dhatu formation, the states of balance of imbalance of each dhatu, and the therapeutic potential of essential oils in restoring balance to the dhatus. Students also inhale specific essential oils and observe their effects on dhatu through self-pulse reading. By combining theoretical and experiential learning, students gain a deeper understanding of how essential oils influence the dhatus/tissues.
