The health of the digestive system is critical for immunity, strength, and healthy tissues. This course focuses on the anatomy and physiology of the digestive system and metabolism, along with the pathophysiology, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of their major disorders from the perspective of Maharishi AyurVeda. It explores principal disorders like indigestion, hyperacidity, GERD, irritable bowel syndrome, and constipation. PH 504/PH 505 share one six-day week of clinical training offered on campus or online.
