In this course, we will be reading Catching the Big Fish by David Lynch and discussing its content. The assignments are exercises based on David Lynch’s methods for catching ideas from the deepest level of consciousness and translating those ideas into short creative projects. The process includes diving into the ocean of creativity within at the source of thought through the twice daily practice of Transcendental Meditation. The assignments are designed to facilitate the process of catching ideas and translating those ideas into film, music, or graphic arts. This course is recommended for students in the creative arts who want to explore a new approach to creativity inspired by David Lynch.
